OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH PSYCHOLOGY is a new and exciting discipline at the interface between applied psychology and occupational health. It is concerned with the role and management of psychological, social and organisational factors in promoting the health and well being of working people and in preventing the stress and ill-health that can be associated with poorly designed and managed work.
The OHP Review is written to promote the development of occupational health psychology, and related management issues, as a separate discipline worldwide and support the education and professional development of individual occupational health psychologists.
This blog has now been incorporated into my personal work blog at: http://www.proftcox.wordpress.com. This new blog covers all of the areas that have been dealt with her and, in addition, gives some insight into my research interests and professional activities. It has been designed and is being developed as a resource for those interested in Occupational Health: Psychology & Management. I hope that you will read and follow it.
Despite being relatively new, the blog has already registered over 700 hits.
